Data Deletion Instructions
Last updated: 5 July 2026
This page describes how to request deletion of your personal data from our WhatsApp CRM platform ("the Platform"). We comply with deletion requests in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection laws (GDPR, India DPDP Act, CCPA, etc.).
Who can request deletion?
- Platform users (admins, agents): you can delete your own account and all data tied to your organization.
- End-customers: if a business has messaged you via this Platform on WhatsApp, please contact that business directly — they are the data controller for your data. You may also contact us and we will forward the request.
- Meta / Facebook users: if you previously authorised our Meta App and want your data removed, follow the steps in Option C below.
Option A — Self-service (recommended for Platform users)
- Sign in to the Platform at the URL provided during onboarding.
- Go to Settings → Organization (members) if you are an admin, or Settings → Security for personal account actions.
- Use the "Delete account" action. You will be asked to confirm via your password.
- Admin users can additionally export a JSON/CSV backup from Admin → Backups before deletion.
All personal data tied to the account (conversations, contacts, orders, AI processing logs) is purged from the live database immediately. Encrypted backups are purged on a rolling 30-day cycle.
Option B — Email request
If you cannot use the self-service option, send an email containing the information below to the support address provided during your onboarding (or to your organization's admin):
Include in the body:
- Your full name
- The email or WhatsApp phone number associated with your data
- The name of the organization or business that holds your data
- A statement confirming you are the data subject or authorised representative
We will acknowledge your request within 7 days and complete deletion within 30 days, in line with GDPR Article 17 / DPDP Act timelines. We may need to verify your identity before processing.
Option C — Facebook / Meta login users
If you authorised our Meta App (e.g. to connect a WhatsApp Business Account or a Facebook/Instagram page) and want to revoke access and delete the associated data:
- Open Facebook → Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites.
- Locate our app in the list of active apps and click Remove.
- Meta will send us a deletion-callback signal containing your User ID.
- Within 30 days we will delete all data tied to that Meta User ID from our systems and confirm via the standard
confirmation_codeURL Meta provides.
Alternatively, you can send us a direct request using Option B above and include your Meta User ID (visible in your Facebook profile URL).
What data gets deleted?
- Your account credentials, profile, and team-membership records.
- All conversations, messages, and attached media (text, images, audio, documents).
- Contact records, labels, segments, and lifecycle data.
- Sales orders, order line items, and reorder cycle data.
- AI-processing logs and any cached prompt/response pairs.
- Connected channel tokens (Meta, Instagram, Telegram, etc.).
- Backups containing the above data, on the next backup-rotation cycle (within 30 days).
What we may retain (and why)
- Audit logs — minimal records (timestamp, action type) retained up to 12 months for security and legal-compliance purposes. Personally identifiable fields are anonymised.
- Billing / invoice records — retained as required by tax and accounting law (typically 7 years).
- Data subject to a legal hold — if we have received a lawful preservation order from a court or regulator.
Confirmation
After deletion is complete, we will send a confirmation email to the address on file (where applicable). For Meta-app deletion callbacks, the standard confirmation_code URL will be returned to Meta for status tracking.
Questions?
